Some things aren’t easy to forget…

Even when you are quite sure that you have moved on, that you have left the past behind; something strange happens and all of a sudden you realize that you were just fooling yourself, that you still remember and still feel pain when you remember.

  1. G’day Kanal,
I’m a little late in returning to thank you for your visit, for that I apologise, it has been a very busy time for me these past few weeks , and I am trying to catch up. Reading about Missy I can tell you are an animal lover, we have that emotion in common .:-). Happy New year to you

  2. Thanks for visiting my corner. In my experience things come back to me when I haven’t fully understood at the time. When my brain is ready to process the information it takes one small thing to trigger the reminder. You never forget you just learn to manage the new lessons.

  3. It’s funny how we (human beings) can feel the same exact emotion or thought no matter the cultural background or life experiences. Thanks for connecting the world with your thoughts. πŸ˜‰

  4. Thank you for visiting my post. I’m so grateful we have the flip side of that. Some memories bring back the same happiness or even laughter that it did originally. Thanks for the post. I always enjoy the ones that make me think.

  5. I came to see you blog, bc you liked my book review of Creole Princess. I want to say that I recently had an experience such as you mention in your post. I read a blog by a dad who was clearly very expressive about his love and appreciation for his daughter. Feelings of sorrow welled w/in me.
